The brief for this commission outlined a 'hot desking' area, to be installed within the window space between two rooms in a 16th Century country house. The final design must have a solid oak top & provide room for at least two computers, with concealed storage beneath.

The finished design has a 40mm thick top, cut from one piece of European oak. The front edge left 'waney,' providing a more natural & softer aesthetic. Three simple cable management holes complete the top.

The four concealed drawers beneath were handcrafted using hand-cut dovetails.
